FAQ

  • Can I make mulled wine ahead of time?

Yes, prepare the fruit in advance, put the spices into tea bags, mix with red wine and sugar, seal and refrigerate. Heat and cook directly at the party, which can save time, and mixing in advance can make the flavors of spices and fruits better blend into the red wine.

  • How long does leftover mulled wine keep?

If sealed and refrigerated, it can be kept for up to 1-2 days, but the flavor will gradually deteriorate. It needs to be fully heated before drinking again, and it is recommended to drink it as soon as possible.

  • Why can’t you let mulled wine boil?

Boiling will cause a large amount of alcohol to evaporate, and the unique aroma of mulled wine will be lost; at the same time, high temperature may destroy the flavor components of spices and fruits, resulting in a worse taste, so just heat it until it is slightly steaming.
